Of the many, many bird species to see in Kruger, we only saw a few close enough to take photos. You have seen some, but I will repeat them along with the others. I will post more as our journey continues.

Others that we saw include Oxpecker, Purple Roller, Dark-capped Bulbul, Little Bee-eater, Southern White-crowned Shrike, Magpie Shrike, Cardinal Woodpecker, Crested Barbet, Kori Bustard, White-necked Raven, Red-billed Hornbill, Pied Crow, Helmeted Guineafowl, Crested Guineafowl, Red-necked Spurfowl, Swainson's Spurfowl, Spotted Eagle-Owl, Verreaux's Eagle-Owl, African Fish-Eagle, Bateleur, Hooded Vulture, Secretarybird, Blacksmith Lapwing, Three-banded Plover, African Snipe, African Darter, African Sacred Ibis, Common Moorhen, Red-knobbed Coot, Egyptian Goose, White-faced Duck, Spotted Thick-knee, Hamerkop, Purple Heron, Marabou Stork, Black Stork, Great Egret, Cape Glossy Starling, African Paradise-Flycatcher, and Red-billed Buffalo Weaver if we identified them correctly in our booklet as we saw them.
