Bopping By Bisbee

Our first time through Bisbee, Arizona, we missed him.  The second time we managed to make connections ahead of time to stop and see what my creative nephew Tate was doing in November.  He is a ceramic artist who is also head of the Art Department for Cochise College.

In early November the fifth annual Cochise College Pit Fire Party was held.  You can read a blog entry and see photos here.  It must have been a lot of fun.  We were a week late in arriving, and here is the empty pit that had held over 1600 pieces:

Besides coordinating this event, my nephew is creating and building a house nearby.  He is on a steep learning curve and having a ball at the same time.

  1. What a fun project for your nephew. Steep curves make those ever lasting memories to reflect upon later. Very interesting post. Seems like he should be out there at BM creating.
