Cleveland to Erie to Buffalo to Rochester to Syracuse to Utica to Schenectady to Albany to Poughkeepsie to Penn Station

Cleveland was great, but our trip continued by train right into Penn Station.  We had to maintain a steady gaze out the window to catch a glimpse of the quickly passing landscape.  Did you see the old Kodak building in Rochester, New York?

Many areas of gorgeous fall color swooshed by, but others prepared for the coming polar vortex.

Albany, New York has one of the most beautiful train stations.  Its windows were great to capture the amazing cloud and tree reflections.

The train followed the Hudson River into New York City.

I know there are faster ways to get to NYC, but these 12 hours were restful and interesting.
